| We are situated on the banks of Nova Scotia's largest river, the beautiful Shubenacadie. The Shubenacadie River experiences the the highest recorded tides in the world, and is also famous for massive tidal bores. Bald Eagles nest along the river and sightings are very common. |

Opening Weekend Victoria Day BonfireWeekend. Okay we'll have a great weekend, with lots to do. Kids you are "cooking" tonight. Everyone's welcome to the big bonfire at the lookoff so we can cook up those tasty treats. Bring your chairs and your flashlights. It's going to be fun. |

Nature Weekend. Come on kids and let's head out for a scavenger hunt. See if you can find Willy! Want to come see when and why you should "hug a tree"? We'll be teen tracking, dancing and more. |

| Happy Birthday Canada. This is a big weekend. Starting with our annual trip to Shubie to be in the parade. Get a spot on the wagon. Get faces painted, flags ready. We're dancing to Midnight express. Kids mini golf tournament. Yes we have fireworks! Teen karaoke, Little kids karaoke. WOW's bike parade. Win a prize for your decorated bicycle. Much more going on throughout the weekend. | ||

| Talent weekend / Mr and Mrs WOW Sign up for Talent night. We want to see what you can do. Prizes for the best voted. Groan.. Yes Mr and Mrs WOW are back. Our 6th annual. See what you can win just by him dressing up as her and her dressing up like him. Oh it's interesting and hilarious. And yes you will be paraded through the park in all your finery. |

| BOOO Halloween. Yippee!!! Oh this one's going to be the best yet. Trick or treaters will be everywhere. Our little trek through the woods last year will seem mild compared to this year. Only recommended for the bravest goblins. Best decorated camp site will win a prize. Get creative again. We'll be taking lots of pictures, like we do every weekend. | ||

| 5th Annual Fear factor. Oh you know this is going to be good! Remember last year? Well that was mild compared to this year. We have little kids, teen and (if necessary) adult Fear happening. Oh and yes we will have" chuck buckets" standing by. When this is all over and you think you feel up to it you'll have to come to the rec hall for some karaoke. | ||

| Labor Day Weekend. What a way to end our summer. We are going all out this weekend. Yes we have a band, yes we have fireworks, and yes we have lots going on. Just a hint: mock jail, piñatas, carnival booths, etc. Right down to a Pool party. You have to be here to enjoy all the fun. | ||
| We always have Bingos, crafts for the kids, and horseshoes/washer toss games. Willie is out of hibernation, you never know when or where he'll show up. Dances with DJ Pepper, Darts with Leo and the gang, 50/50 tickets etc., etc. Last but not least our famous wagon ride to the * Angels Lookoff* to watch the incoming tidal bore along with rafters to follow. For this ride it is suggested you bring a refreshment and a chair with you as there is limited seating at the landing. | |

| - Follow all posted regulation signs in designated areas ( rec hall, pool area, etc.) | ||
| - No children will be allowed in the rec hall or hanging around outside the rec hall area during adult functions/dances. |  |
