We are situated on the banks of Nova Scotia's largest river, the beautiful Shubenacadie. The Shubenacadie River experiences the the highest recorded tides in the world, and is also famous for massive tidal bores. Bald Eagles nest along the river and sightings are very common.

Cindy's Little Angels

We were fortunate enough to have known and loved a good friend and seasonal camper Cindy Reddin. Cindy was diagnosed with small cell aggressive cancer in early 2007. She was 45 years old. She was a loving mother to her daughters Kara, Brandy, and Minnie, and a beautiful wife to Derek for many years. She touched so many people in her short life. She was an amazing lady and we will never forget her. Cindy came up with an idea to have a fundraiser, raising money for kids living with cancer. So in July of 2007 we had our 1st Annual Cindy's Little Angels Fundraiser. With the help of a lot of caring people we raised over $15000 for Camp Goodtime. We did everything from a mock jail, 50/50 draws, auction, head shaving, face painting, locks of love, donations from all over NS. The list goes on. This was a truly overwhelming experience. Sadly Cindy lost her battle with cancer in Dec. 2007.

But her legacy will go on because this year we are proud to be the hosts again for "Cindy's Little Angels" 2nd Annual Fundraiser

It is in her memory that we will hold, every second weekend in July, this very special event.

All her friends at WOW will miss her dearly.
