Wide Open Wilderness Family Campground

We are a family campground situated on the banks of Nova Scotia’s largest river, the beautiful Shubenacadie. The Shubie experiences the the highest recorded tides in the world, and is famous for massive tidal bores. Bald Eagles nest along the river and sightings are very common. Our look off provides a spectacular view of both Eagles and the tidal bore.

Day passes are also available.
